Sell crypto in the UAE and withdraw AED to your bank account
To sell crypto in the UAE on BitOasis, convert it to dirhams on Lite (0% trading fee) or Pro (entry tier: 0.38% maker, 0.58% taker), then withdraw to your own bank account for AED 25 (AED 65 above AED 25,000). The help centre says requests before 11:00 UAE time, Monday to Saturday, are processed the same day; the fees page allows 1 to 2 days to process and up to 3 days to credit.

How selling crypto for AED works on BitOasis
Selling takes three steps and up to two fees: a trading fee when you sell and a flat fee when you withdraw. It is the return leg of the route that starts when you buy Bitcoin with AED.
1. Have the crypto in your BitOasis wallet
If you bought the crypto on BitOasis, it is already in your wallet. If it sits elsewhere, send it to the receiving address BitOasis shows for that asset. Receiving crypto is free.
Use a supported network: the help centre says funds sent on an unsupported network may be lost. The wallets guide covers moving crypto between wallets.
2. Sell on Lite or Pro
On Lite, open the Sell section, choose the pair, for example BTC-AED, enter the amount and confirm the summary. On Pro, place a market order or a limit order on the crypto-to-AED pair. The dirhams from the sale go to your AED balance on BitOasis.

3. Withdraw AED to your own bank account
Open Wallet, choose Withdraw and pick a bank account in your own name. The minimum is AED 200. The fee is AED 25 up to AED 25,000 and AED 65 above that.
The cut-off table below shows when a request is processed.
Selling fees and AED withdrawal charges
You pay a trading fee when you sell and a flat fee when you withdraw. Lite shows a 0% trading fee, but its quoted price includes a spread that BitOasis does not publish, so compare the quote with the market price before you confirm.
| What you do | Fee |
|---|---|
| Receive crypto in your BitOasis wallet | Free |
| Sell on Lite | 0% trading fee |
| Sell on Pro as maker, crypto-to-AED pair | 0.38% |
| Sell on Pro as taker, crypto-to-AED pair | 0.58% |
| Withdraw AED, up to AED 25,000 | AED 25 |
| Withdraw AED, above AED 25,000 | AED 65 |
| The fees page also lists USD withdrawals: USD 115 up to USD 7,000 and USD 125 for USD 7,000 or more. A help centre notice (article modified 2 May 2026) showed USD withdrawals as temporarily disabled. | |
Read from the BitOasis fee pages on . Last reviewed . Pro has nine volume tiers; the fees page has the full trading and withdrawal fee tables.
Worked example: selling AED 10,000 of crypto
You sell crypto worth AED 10,000 and withdraw the dirhams in one transfer.
- Pro as taker, for example a market order: 0.58% of AED 10,000 is AED 58. Add the AED 25 withdrawal fee and the total is AED 83.
- Pro as maker, a limit order that waits to be filled: 0.38% is AED 38. With the withdrawal fee the total is AED 63.
- Lite: 0% trading fee plus AED 25. The spread inside the quoted price is a cost on top, and it is not published.
The withdrawal fee is flat, so it weighs more on small amounts: AED 25 is 12.5% of the AED 200 minimum and 0.25% of AED 10,000. For the cost of a full round trip, read the guide to buying Bitcoin in the UAE.
How long an AED withdrawal takes
BitOasis publishes two statements about timing, and they differ. The help centre gives a daily cut-off.
| Request made | What happens |
|---|---|
| Monday to Saturday, before 11:00 AM UAE time | Processed the same day |
| Monday to Saturday, after 11:00 AM UAE time | Processed on the next banking day |
| Sunday | Not published |
| After processing | Your bank credits your account |
Source: BitOasis help centre cash withdrawal guide.
The BitOasis fees page gives a wider window: withdrawals take 1 to 2 days to process and up to 3 days to credit. Until BitOasis reconciles the two, plan on the longer window if you need the money by a set date.

Selling USDT for AED
USDT-AED is a live pair on BitOasis: its price page, read on 11 October 2026, carries buy, sell and swap controls. USDT is a token issued by Tether, not by BitOasis. If yours is in another wallet, send it to the USDT receiving address in your BitOasis wallet, sell it for AED on Lite or Pro, then withdraw the dirhams as described above.
Receiving USDT is free. The BitOasis fees page lists USDT on two networks, ERC20 and TRC20, so send on one of those and match it to the network shown with your receiving address. The help centre list of unsupported networks names Polygon, Avalanche, Fantom, Arbitrum, Optimism, Cosmos, Binance Smart Chain (BEP-20), Base, opBNB, Chiliz and Omni for incoming transfers, and says funds sent on an unsupported network may be lost.
The network table, with the fee and the minimum for each, is on the page about USDT networks and fees.

Selling on BitOasis compared with P2P and cash desks
There are three common routes from crypto to dirhams. The table compares routes, not brands. The figures in the first route are the ones BitOasis publishes.
| What to check | Licensed platform with bank withdrawal | Peer-to-peer marketplace | Walk-in cash or OTC desk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Counterparty | On BitOasis, BitOasis Technologies FZE, which routes your order to liquidity providers. | Another user of the marketplace, whom you assess yourself. | The business behind the counter. |
| Licence check | Look up the operator on the VARA public register. | Check whether the marketplace operator is on the register. The person who pays you is not the operator. | Ask for the legal name and licence reference, then look them up before you hand anything over. |
| Payment trail for your bank | A transfer from the platform to an account in your own name, plus your trade history. | A payment from a person or business your bank does not know. Keep the marketplace record. | Cash leaves no bank record. Ask for a receipt that names the business. |
| Cost visibility | Published: 0% on Lite, or 0.38% maker and 0.58% taker on Pro at the entry tier, then AED 25 or AED 65. The Lite spread is not published. | Inside the price each advert offers. Compare it with the market price. | Quoted deal by deal. Ask for the rate and any commission in writing. |
| Speed | Help centre: same day before the 11:00 AM UAE time cut-off, Monday to Saturday. Fees page: 1 to 2 days to process and up to 3 days to credit. | Depends on when the buyer pays and the crypto is released. | Depends on the desk. Not measured for this page. |
Selling through BitOasis has drawbacks. There is no cash payout, the smallest withdrawal is AED 200 and bank cut-off times apply. Identity checks come first: the help centre article on verification lists an ID or passport, a liveness selfie, your residential address and your source of funds. The declaration you accept also rules out P2P trading through a BitOasis account.
Questions about selling crypto in the UAE
These answers cover the selling route. Account, funding and general timing questions are on the FAQ page, under withdrawal questions and answers.
How do I turn USDT into AED?
Send the USDT to your BitOasis wallet on the ERC20 or TRC20 network, sell it on the USDT-AED pair on Lite or Pro, then withdraw the dirhams to a bank account in your own name. Receiving USDT is free. Lite has a 0% trading fee and a spread that is not published, and the AED withdrawal costs AED 25 up to AED 25,000.
What is the minimum I can withdraw?
AED 200, according to the BitOasis help centre (article modified 1 May 2026). The fee is a flat AED 25 up to AED 25,000, so at the minimum it takes 12.5% of the amount. BitOasis does not publish a maximum. A balance below AED 200 stays in your account until it reaches the minimum.
Can I withdraw to someone else's bank account?
No. The help centre says AED withdrawals go only to a personal bank account in your own name. An account that belongs to a relative, a friend or an employer is a third-party account and is not accepted. The onboarding declaration also says the account is not to be used for payment services or P2P trading.
What if I request a withdrawal after 11:00 or on a Sunday?
A request made after 11:00 AM UAE time, Monday to Saturday, is processed on the next banking day, according to the help centre. It does not say how a Sunday request is handled, so ask support if the date matters. The fees page allows 1 to 2 days to process and up to 3 days to credit.
Is selling crypto taxed in the UAE?
That depends on your circumstances, and this page does not give tax advice. The answer can differ for an individual, for a business and for someone who is tax resident in another country. Ask the Federal Tax Authority or a qualified tax adviser, and keep your BitOasis trade history and bank withdrawal records.
Can I sell large amounts through a desk?
Yes, if you meet the conditions. The BitOasis OTC page (bitoasis.net/en/otc), read on 11 October 2026, is titled “BitOasis OTC Trading Service” and has a “Register Interest” control. It states a minimum transaction of USD 100,000 and says you have to be Tier 2 verified. It shows no fee or spread, so ask how the price is set before you agree to a trade.
Regulatory information
BitOasis Technologies FZE is licensed by the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) for Broker-Dealer Services, VASP Licence reference VL/2024/11/001. The register entry shows the licence as Active and says the company is permitted to serve institutional, qualified and retail investors. The licences page has the VARA broker-dealer licence details, and the About page describes the licensed entity behind BitOasis.
When you sell, BitOasis acts as a broker-dealer. Its Terms of Service say 100% of client spot orders are routed to liquidity providers, named as Bitfinex, Aquanow and BitGo MENA FZE. Until you sell, your crypto is held through BitGo entities in segregated wallets; the security page explains where client assets are held.
A licence is not a protection scheme, and no financial protection scheme covers a BitOasis account. Read the statement on the risks of virtual assets. If a sale or a withdrawal goes wrong, reach BitOasis support first, then follow the complaints procedure and timelines.
